Love what you do and do what you love. Don’t listen to anyone else who tells you not to do it. You do what you want, what you love. Imagination should be the center of your life.
Ray Bradbury
I have always dreamed of becoming a writer. Surrounded by books throughout the foundational years of my life, I knew firsthand the power of prose and the ways that a good story could seemingly transport you into another world. I wrote small, intense stories between friends and kept that inner flame alive throughout my life, but it took some time to realize there was more to the magic I could do with words.
I started this website in the throes of the pandemic, awash in all the uncertainty and anxiety that many of us were facing and trying to figure out how to start making a name for myself. At first, this was meant to be an avenue to promote a book I had an idea for (and still hold dear a small but important draft for in my Pages app.) Instead, over the years I noticed the power my writing had to reassure, soothe, and educate others. I realized the real power comes from communicating my experiences, thoughts and concerns so that people feel less alone in this wild and crazy thing called life.
This page will be a testament to all things life related. Food diaries, snapshots of favorite moments and memories, epiphanies on life, love, and parenthood, and everything in the grey area in between. My hope is people come here and see a little bit of their own experiences reflected back at them, or a fresh new perspective to open their worldview. All are welcome in my little enclave.
To my dear readers, thank you for being here, and enjoy the journey.
